Day 04  Bangkok - Chiang Mai (B/L/D)

You will be transferred to Bangkok Airport for your flight - Bangkok Air PG270 departing at 10:00 & arriving at 11:15. (Airfare not included) You will be met with your guide at Chiang Mai Airport and transferred to your hotel.

Drive up to visit DoiSuthep, the most important Wat in Chiang Mai. Perched high above the city, it offers wonderful views of the city and countryside below.
From here head west of the city walls on to one of the most beautiful viewpoints for sunset – WatSuanDok. Literally translated as ‘’field of flowers’’, this temple was built by King Keu Na of Lanna, and is a prime example of Lanna architecture. Here at this fourteenth century temple you will witness evening prayer as the monks and local people come together at the end of the day.

Visit Lamphun Oldest Existing City
After breakfast, take a fascinating drive along the old road to Lampoon (26 km. away) with its history dating back to A.D. 700, and visit its ancient Wat Phrathad Haripoonchai, one of the most revered and ancient temples, containing a holy relic of Lord Buddha, and Wat Jamathewi, containing the ashes of Queen Jamathewi, Lampoon’s first ruler. Before returning to Chiang Mai, visit to local market in Lamphun

Day 08 Siem Reap (B/L/D)
Tour the Angkor area, one of the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia exploring the wondrous ancient ruins. Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire, from the 9th to the 15th century. They include the famous Temple of Angkor Wat and, at Angkor Thom, the Bayon Temple with its countless sculptural decorations.
This morning you will depart hotel at around 04:30AM for the sunrise tour over Angkor Wat - The 12th-century temple took 30 years to build and represents the Khmer civilisation at its grandest. It is also the best preserved temple with its fascinating decorative flourishes and extensive bas-reliefs.
Back to hotel at around 6.30am for breakfast before taking the main tour of the day.
After buffet breakfast at hotel, start your sightseeing tour of Angkor area. We spend a full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares.

We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple and the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm, which is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature.
Later, you can walk up to Phnom Bakheng Hill for a view of the spectacular sunset over these sandstone monuments.

Day 09 Siemreap (B/L/D)
After breakfast this morning, visit the floating village of Kompong Pluk where you will take the wood boat to explore the Cambodian houses on stilt and the flooded forest before reaching to Tonle Sap lake to take a glimpse of fishermen and other activities.
Enjoy local lunch.
Afternoon, continue to Koh Ker Temple, a mountain temple with seven decks rising 35 meters high built by Preah Bat Chey Varman IV from AD 921-942. The group of Koh Ker temples consists of 38 small temples in a variety of styles.
Return to Siem Reap town to enjoy an Indian dinner at Indian restaurant.

Day 10 Siemreap – Saigon (B/D)
After breakfast, free & easy till transfer to the airport for your flight to Saigon.

Day 11  Cu Chi & city tour (B/L/D)
Visit the CuChi Tunnels the best-preserved example of a much wider tunnel network that covers significant stretches of Vietnam. City tour of Saigon.
After breakfast this morning transfer to Cu Chi passing paddy fields. See the Cu Chi Tunnels, which is an immense network of connecting underground tunnels located in the Cu Chi District of Ho Chi Minh City. Never discovered by America forces, these tunnels were an important Vietcong base during America War. Stretching over 200km, this incredible underground network, dug by hand out of hard laterite, connected commands posts, hospitals, shelter and weapon factories. Enjoy an Western lunch.
Later explore the city of Saigon on a city tour. See the famous Saigon landmarks, the post office and the Cathedral of Notre Dame as well as the Centre Post Office and pass by the ornate City Hall (Hotel De Ville) and old Opera House. Visit The Unification Palace which formerly was Independence palace of the South Vietnamese President. Finally, end up at the centre Ben Thanh Market, where vendor display a vast of variety of traditional goods and handicrafts.

Day 12 Hochiminh – My Tho – Hanoi (B/L/D)
After breakfast at hotel, you transfer to Mekong Delta and My Tho province
Our day trip starts at 8:00 am from the lobby of your hotel in Saigon with a drive to My Tho, the capital of Tien Giang Province 72 kms from Ho Chi Minh City (Former Saigon).
Then take a boat trip round 4 beautiful islets: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix , and Tortoise. These evergreen islands among the Mekong River still remain unknown to many people. You will discover beautiful landscapes along the river and observe the typical Mekong delta rural life. Stops on the way can be made upon request for particular visits or photos making. Visit traditional house at Quoi An village (all make from coconut). See coconut collection set and how locals make handicrafts from trunk and shell, you can see that they waste nothing, coconut even useful from wedding to funeral.
Enjoy seasonal fruit and listening to traditional music (Tai Tu). Take rowing-boat on water palm creek. Take boat to visit coconut candy mill (special product of Ben Tre province).
Have lunch at local restaurant.
Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh and take flight to Hanoi.

Day 13   Hanoi – Halong (Brunch/D)
Onto the beautiful Halong Bay known for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands topped by rainforests. Sail along this beautiful region on board an overnight cruise.
After breakfast, travel through the Red River Delta to beautiful Halong Bay. The scenic drive will pass through rural landscapes before arriving at this World Heritage site. Upon arrival board the Boat where you will enjoy a welcome drink and a delicious lunch whilst sailing out of the bay passing amazing shaped mountains.
Later you will visit Sung Sot Cave then sail on to Titop Beach and Mountain. Weather permitting, you may wish to partake in a 400 steps climb up the mountain to enjoy a picturesque view of Halong Bay whilst viewing the sunset.

Day 14  Halong – Hanoi (B/L/D)
Enjoy the early morning view of the bay’s landscape from on board your cruise. Visit the Hang Luon. Drive back to Hanoi.

We have some time to swim before sailing back to the Harbour. After check out have early lunch on board and then drive back to Hanoi.

Day 15 Hanoi city tour (B/L/D)
Full day tour of Hanoi. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, Temple of Literature, The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, HoanKiem Lake and much more.
After breakfast, start your full day city tour. Our first stop will be the Ho Chi Minh Complex, where the father of modern-day Vietnam declared the nation’s independence in 1945. Discover the reverence with which the Vietnamese treat their “Uncle Ho” at this pilgrimage site. Continue your tour at sites such as the Stilt House, Presidential Palace, and One Pillar Pagoda.
Then drive to the Temple of Literature, built in honor of Confucius by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong in 1070, which is also used to be the first university of Vietnam in the 11th century. Enjoy an Lunch at Western restaurant . Later, we shall visit The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, which is a museum in Hanoi, Vietnam, which focuses on the 54 officially recognized ethnic groups in Vietnam. Then visit HoanKiem Lake (Sword Lake) and passing by Ngoc Son Temple (outside) with Sunrise Bridge.  You also have some free time for shopping at the Old Quarter.

Day 16  Hanoi – Ninh Binh (B/L/D)
After breakfast guide & driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, then leave by coach to Hoa Lu (2.5 hrs). Visit the historic capital of Vietnam and the famous ancient temples of Le and the Dinh Dynasties. Then our bus will transfer you from Hoa Lu to Tam Coc for lunch

After lunch, boat trip to visit Tam Coc to see the beauty of the karst formations as you pass along their base and row into one of the many caves carved through the limestone.
Dive back to Hanoi
